Most of the people who work with CF360 are not employees. They are researchers who write, illustrate, analyse or mentor alongside their own work, paid per piece. If that is what you are looking for, the routes below are open all year.

Write for the magazine
Features, columns, lab tours and opinion pieces, commissioned and paid at a rate agreed before you start. Read the contributor guidelines first.
Illustrate or analyse
CF360 Lab and Research Services take on scientific illustrators, data analysts and video producers per commission. Send a portfolio and the fields you can work in.
Teach an Academy course
If you teach a research skill well and have the material, we produce it and share the revenue. Statistics, characterisation, programming and methodology.
Mentor
Forty-five minute sessions with researchers deciding what comes next. Paid, scheduled around you, and you choose which fields you take.
What we ask for. Evidence that you have done the thing, in the form of the thing — a paper, a figure, a dataset, a course. Not a covering letter about your passion for science communication.
