The terms on which this site, its downloads, its tools and its commissioned work are provided.
These terms are a working draft awaiting legal review. They describe accurately how the site operates, so that a lawyer reviewing them has something concrete to correct rather than a blank page. They are not legal advice and should not be relied on as binding until that review is complete.
What the full document covers
Accounts. A reader account is free and personal to you. We may suspend one used to redistribute gated material.
The magazine. Opening pages free, full issues for signed-in readers, provided for personal reading. Academic quotation with attribution is expressly welcome.
Free tools. The converter and constants are provided as is. Conversion factors are drawn from published reference data and believed accurate, but check any value a result, a purchase or a safety decision depends on.
Templates. Free to use and adapt in your own research, teaching and applications, including commercially, with no attribution required. Not for resale as your own product.
Commissioned work. Every commission runs on a written scope agreed before work starts. Fixed price. Two revision rounds. On payment in full, all rights pass to you including the editable source file. We ask permission before showing anything publicly and take silence as refusal.
Authorship. Design or analysis support does not by itself make us an author of your paper, and we do not ask to be listed.
