File formats and figure specifications
Manuscript as .docx using the CF360 template. Figures as separate files, never embedded — the manuscript carries a placeholder line and the full caption instead.
Vector formats (PDF, EPS, SVG) for plots and schematics; TIFF or PNG for images at 300 ppi minimum at final size. Single column is 85 mm, double column 175 mm. Nothing in a figure smaller than 7 pt. Colour must never be the only thing distinguishing two series.
If a figure needs work, CF360 Lab can redraw it. For commissioned pieces that is an editorial courtesy rather than a paid commission, and you keep the source file.
